អនុសញ្ញាអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិស្តីពីនីតិសមុទ្រ(United Nation Convention on the Law of the Sea) ហៅកាត់ថា UNCLOS ត្រូវបានអនុម័តនៅថ្ងៃទី១០ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៨២ នៅទីក្រុងម៉ុងតេហ្គោ បាយ (Montégo Bay) ប្រទេសហ្សាម៉ាយកា (Jamaica)។ UNCLOS គឺជាក្របខណ្ឌច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិដែលអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យប្រទេសដែលជាសមាជិក ដោះស្រាយវិវាទដែនសមុទ្រដោយសន្តិវិធី ស្របតាមច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ ជាពិសេសក្នុងករណីដែលមានសកម្មភាពឯកតោភាគីប៉ះពាល់ដល់តំបន់ទាមទារដែនសមុទ្រត្រួតគ្នា និងសិទ្ធិអធិបតេយ្យភាពលើដែនសមុទ្រ។»

United Nation Convention on the Law of the Sea
The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) was adopted on 10 December 1982 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. UNCLOS serves as the international legal framework that enables states member to peacefully resolve maritime disputes in accordance with international law, particularly when unilateral actions affect overlapping maritime claims and sovereign rights at sea.
